As we read God’s Word this morning we hear of those who accused and condemned Jesus. The Sanhedrin were leaders within the church that allowed their own personal expectations of God distract them from seeing God in the flesh, even as He stood before them.
How often do we also allow our personal expectations to get in the way of truly seeing Jesus at work among us? When God doesn’t respond in the way that we expect, we also accuse and even condemn His actions. As worshippers and even leaders within God’s Church, we gather this morning to confess our sins to Him. I invite you to take a moment to consider the ways that you have accused and condemned God, for not working in the ways that you expected, and even demanded.
